What is The Stanford Field Hockey Tournament?

The Stanford Field Hockey tournament is a one-day, fast-paced 6v6 tournament played at Stanford University. The tournament is directed by Steve Danielson, who has been a coach at Stanford for since 2009 and is one of the most accomplished USA Men’s National Team players in its history. This tournament is both fun and competitive, and gives high school athletes a taste of what it is like to play on the same turf as college athletes.

When is the Tournament?

 

Saturday, April 14th, 2018 – U14 Girls, U16 Girls

Sunday, April 15th, 2017 – U19 Girls, Open Women’s

Who can play?

Girls in middle school or high school. We will participate in three divisions including U14, U16, and U19. The tournament also features an open division for adult women.

What times are the games?

Check-In is at 7:15 am and the clinic begins at 7:30 am. Games will begin follow the completion of the clinic.

Where do we play?

At Stanford University in Northern California.
