What is Winter Training?
Winter training is an opportunity for young athletes aged 4-18 to practice and play field hockey in a controlled environment. After warming up, our experienced coaches will provide instruction and drills followed by scrimmage games for the remaining amount of time. K-4th will play for 1.5 hours and 5th-12th will play for 2 hours. Athletes will be divided into groups based on skill and experience each week, so everyone can thrive at their level and pace. Training will complement our Winter League games.
What times do we play?
La Jolla Times:
K – 4th – 3:00pm to 4:30pm
5th – 8th – 3:00pm to 5:00pm
9th – 12th – 5:00pm to 7:00pm
Del Norte Times:
K – 4th – 11:00am to 12:30am
5th – 8th – 11:00am to 1:00pm
9th – 12th – 12:30pm to 2:30pm
